Staying True To Myself

Hey Love! It’s been a while since my last post, I can sit here and give you a million excuses to why I haven’t posted a look and the truth is I wasn’t inspired and I learned not to force it. When I force something it never turns out in my favor, so I’m currently going with the flow. I created my blog as a platform to connect and inspire those who tune in and as much as I love being positive polly, that is not who I am all the time. There were times I felt uninspired, underrated and lost. I felt that way for awhile, but not anymore. Just how snakes shed their skin to allow further growth is what I’ve been doing the past couple of months and the new haircut was the final touch.

When I walked into the hair salon I knew what I wanted, a trim and some layers for volume. Ona had a different vision and something in me was like YOLO do it! I want to live my best life, be fearless and unapologetically myself. This look is different, it’s not want I wanted (in the beginning) but what I needed. I feel more like myself than ever. Ona had seen right through me and transformed me. I’m entering this new age wiser and more grateful than ever before. God loves me and has placed beautiful souls in my life to remind me that I’m here for a higher purpose. I hope that while you sit here and learn more about me through my blog, YouTube or social media platforms you learn more about yourself as well.

Through soul to soul conversations (soul to soul conversations is what I like to call conversations that are so spiritually deep that it has you feeling woke at the end) I’ve learned how powerful and beautiful I am but also see the magic in those around me. It’s amazing being around those who truly love helping others, see their magic and admire it.

The way I look at life now plus this new look, it has me feeling unstoppable, confident and EXTRA BADA$$. I’m living in my truth and feel amazing. Of course, there’ll be bad days and struggles, but it’s all about perspective. Embrace your struggles, learn from them and move on. There’s always a blessing waiting for you at the end of each life lesson.
